Job summary

PT IZUMI SENTUL REALTY is seeking an MEP Inspector to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting installs on the Opus Park project. You will ensure conformance to drawings, specs, and quality standards while supporting smart building integration.

The role requires experience in MEP supervision for high-rise buildings and a strong focus on testing, commissioning, and coordination with site teams to resolve clashes and improve energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a diploma or bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, building services or related field.
• Experience in MEP supervision or inspection, preferably in high-rise projects.
• Knowledge of building automation (BAS) and smart building considerations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor MEP installation works across the project site.
• Supervise plumbing, hydrant and sprinkler, electrical and low-voltage systems, HVAC, and major equipment rooms.
• Ensure materials meet approved submissions and project specs.
• Review installation quality and identify non-conformities requiring action.
• Conduct and witness testing and commissioning activities (pressure tests, megger tests, fire protection, BAS trials).
• Coordinate with Structure Inspector and Site Manager to resolve MEP clashes with structures.
• Monitor integration of MEP with Smart Building technology and energy-efficiency goals.
• Maintain inspection records and report issues to project team.

Job description

An MEP Inspector responsible for overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting installations across the Opus Park project. The role ensures that MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements, while supporting the integration of Smart Building systems and energy efficient solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor MEP installation works across the project site
• Supervise the installation of plumbing, hydrant and sprinkler systems, electrical and low-voltage systems, HVAC, and major equipment and machine rooms
• Ensure materials installed by contractors comply with approved material submissions and project specifications
• Review installation quality and identify non-conformities requiring corrective action
• Conduct and witness testing and commissioning activities, including piping pressure tests, cable megger tests, fire protection system testing, and building automation system trials
• Coordinate with the Structure Inspector and Site Manager to identify and resolve potential MEP clashes with structural elements
• Monitor the integration of MEP systems to support Smart Building technology and energy-efficiency objectives
• Maintain inspection records and report technical issues and progress to the project team

What You Will Need

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related engineering field
• Relevant experience in MEP supervision or inspection, preferably in high-rise building projects
• Experience with vertical building systems such as booster pumps, mechanical ventilation, pressurized fire protection systems, and high-speed lifts
• Experience with Smart Home systems or Building Automation Systems (BAS) is highly preferred
• Good understanding of MEP installation, quality control, testing, and commissioning
• Strong coordination and communication skills with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
