The role blends hands-on MEP engineering with cost management and on-site supervision, ensuring project goals meet schedule and budget. You will prepare, review, and coordinate MEP drawings, perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation, and liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant engineering field.
• Experience in MEP Engineering or MEP Quantity Surveying.
• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare MEP drawings.
• Strong cost estimation, BOQ, and project cost control skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are urgently seeking an experienced MEP Engineering & Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our project team. This role combines MEP engineering expertise with quantity surveying responsibilities, including cost management, MEP drawing preparation, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and coordinate MEP drawings and technical documentation.

Perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and budgeting for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works.

Prepare and evaluate BOQs, cost reports, and progress claims.

Monitor and control MEP project costs to ensure budget compliance.

Supervise and coordinate MEP installation works on-site.

Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve technical issues.

Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Prepare project progress reports and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Having experience in MEP Engineering, MEP Quantity Surveying, or a similar role.

Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, and industry standards.

Ability to read, interpret, and prepare MEP drawings.

Experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project cost control.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Willing to work on-site and oversee field operations.

Basic English communication skills, both written and verbal.
