Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a procurement professional to drive cost-efficient maritime services procurement and build strong supplier partnerships in Jakarta. You will operate within our integrated management framework, ensuring compliance with QSHE, TMSA, OCIMF, IMO, and ISO standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) and up to 6 months of relevant experience, with fluent English and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any major (Engineering background in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering preferred).
• 0-6 months of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge in vendor management and negotiation.
• Fluent in English and proficient in computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-effective procurement strategies for maritime services while optimizing expenditure.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal company procedures, QSHE standards, TMSA guidelines, OCIMF requirements, IMO resolutions, and ISO frameworks.
• Implement Integrated Management System and identify, document, and control risks in the department's work area.
• Foster and ensure commitment to Integrated Management System requirements.
• Participate in accident investigation processes and provide accurate information and reports.

Main Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
