Job summary

JAPFA seeks a Service Procurement Manager in Indonesia to oversee a team of procurement specialists and drive cost-effective service acquisitions. You will develop strategies, manage end-to-end procurement cycles, and ensure compliance with contracts and company policies.

The role requires a track record in negotiation, vendor evaluation, and strong leadership to optimize procurement performance and vendor relationships across diverse services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in service procurement.
• Proven negotiation and contract management track record.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, legal aspects of contracts, and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of procurement specialists responsible for service purchases.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for various services, aligning with company goals and budget constraints.
• Manage the entire service procurement cycle, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract finalization and performance monitoring.
• Identify and evaluate potential service providers, conducting due diligence and risk assessments.
• Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Prepare and manage service contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and foster strong, collaborative relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand service requirements and ensure timely and effective procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and vendor information.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in service procurement.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and new technologies related to service procurement.
• Prepare reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and vendor management for senior leadership.
