Job summary

Tripatra seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment on projects in Indonesia. The role involves hands-on work with LV/MV switchgear, transformers, generators, and related systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of IEC, ANSI, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA standards.

Job description

Requirements & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Diploma IV (D4) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Instrumentation, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical equipment maintenance, repair, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Hands‑on experience in three (3) or more of the following electrical equipment specializations:

• Low Voltage (LV) & Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear
• Power & Distribution Transformers
• Low Voltage (LV) & Medium Voltage (MV) Generators
• Industrial Electrical Heaters
• Electrical Cable Fault Finding and Testing
• Electrical Control & Monitoring Systems
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) & Battery Systems

Good understanding of electrical systems, equipment diagnostics, fault analysis, and preventive and corrective maintenance.

Familiar with relevant national and international electrical standards, such as IEC, ANSI, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA.

Experienced in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment relevant to the assigned specialization.

Ability to analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and technical report preparation.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Committed to complying with applicable HSE procedures, quality standards, and technical specifications.

Willing to travel or be assigned to project sites as required.
