PT. Permata Prima Enjiniring Elektrika is seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical specialist for HV/EHV substation projects in Indonesia.
You will supervise inspection, testing, and documentation of 150kV cables, transformers, switchgear, and control systems, ensuring compliance with IPC/IEC standards. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong ability to interpret SLDs and drawings, and proven leadership in field QA/QC teams.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems / Heavy Current).
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as QA/QC Electrical in High Voltage / Extra High Voltage (70kV–150kV) Substation construction projects.
Certifications:
Electrical Engineering Competency Certificate (SKTTK) from DJK/PLN or BNSP.
General / Electrical Occupational Health and Safety (K3 Electrical) Certification.
Technical Standards & Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of national and international electrical codes (SPLN, IEC, IEEE, PUIL, ANSI).
Strong ability to read and interpret SLD, Wiring Diagrams, Shop Drawings, and As-Built Drawings.
Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage testing equipment (Megger, Earth Tester, Secondary/Primary Injection Test Sets).
Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Non‑Conformity Reports (NCR), and material approval procedures.
Scope‑Specific Skills: Practical understanding of Control Room MEP/HVAC, fire protection systems, CCTV, lighting layout, and 150kV cable handling.
Soft Skills: Detail‑oriented, strong technical communication, analytical problem‑solving, and leadership in field quality control.
Language Proficiency: Proficient in English (both written and spoken) for technical reporting, reading design documents, and communicating with international vendors or client representatives.
High Voltage & Cable Inspection: Supervise, inspect, and verify the installation and testing of 150kV high‑voltage power cables, control wiring, and grounding systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety codes.
Main Equipment Installation & Testing: Quality check the installation, assembly, and pre‑commissioning processes for Power Transformers, switchgear, protection panels, and control systems.
Control Building Systems QA/QC: Inspect and approve electrical, mechanical, and auxiliary systems inside the Control Room building, including CCTV network, emergency/general lighting, and Piping & Hydrant Fire Protection systems.
Civil & Mechanical Interface Checks: Conduct joint inspections for supporting civil and mechanical works, including transformer foundations, cable trenches, and pipe penetration seals in the Control Building.
Material Receiving & Verification: Perform incoming quality control (IQC) for all site electrical equipment, high‑voltage cables, fire protection materials, and sub‑components against approved vendor lists and technical specs.
NCR & Defect Management: Identify non‑conforming work or materials at the site, issue Non‑Conformity Reports (NCR), propose corrective action plans, and verify defect rectifications.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, complete daily/weekly quality inspection logs, review test reports, and compile final handover/commissioning dossiers.
HSE & Standard Compliance: Enforce strict High Voltage safety protocols, job safety standards, and safety clearance distances during work execution and live‑voltage test activities.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate regularly with Project Management, Site Managers, sub‑contractors, and third‑party inspectors to resolve technical site issues promptly.
ITP Development & Execution: Create, update, and implement project‑specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and quality checklists covering 150kV cable testing, transformer commissioning, fire protection systems, and Control Room electrical installations.
