Job summary

Responsibilities

Server Maintenance Engineer / Server After-Sales Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Perform server delivery and installation activities, including server rack mounting, equipment installation, and cable management.

Conduct server hardware inspection, testing, and commissioning to ensure equipment is properly installed and operational.

Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware issues through log collection, analysis, and systematic fault identification.

Perform corrective maintenance and replacement of faulty server components, including hard drives, motherboards, memory, power supplies, and other hardware components.

Perform server firmware, BIOS, and related system updates as required.

Support server maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and on-site technical troubleshooting.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve server-related technical issues and ensure timely service delivery.

Maintain accurate records of server installations, maintenance activities, component replacements, and troubleshooting results.

Provide technical support for server after-sales services and ensure issues are resolved within the required service level.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience in server maintenance, hardware support, data center operations, IT infrastructure, or field service engineering.

Hands-on experience with server hardware installation, rack mounting, cabling, hardware replacement, and troubleshooting.

Familiar with server components such as CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, PSU, RAID, and related hardware.

Good understanding of BIOS, firmware updates, server logs, and hardware diagnostic tools.

Experience with server brands such as Huawei, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Inspur, Supermicro, or similar is highly preferred.

Experience in data center environments or server after-sales service is an advantage.

Willing to work in a data center environment and shifting schedule.
