SERVER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables

Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed

Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests

Record transactions in the POS system correctly and timely

Check to guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage

Clean tables, complete opening closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies

Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)

Inform customers about the day’s specials

Offer menu recommendations upon request

Up-sell additional products when appropriate

Provide excellent customer service to guests
