Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Textile Manufacturing Specialist (Indonesian Citizens Only)

PT. Kahatex Rancaekek is seeking an experienced Senior Textile Manufacturing Specialist to join our Finishing Department, focusing on fabric quality assurance, finishing process optimization, defect prevention, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate fabric quality throughout all finishing processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve fabric defects, quality inconsistencies, and finishing-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurring quality problems.
• Optimize finishing parameters to improve fabric appearance, dimensional stability, GSM consistency, and overall quality.
• Inspect and evaluate finished fabrics to ensure they meet established quality standards before shipment.
• Identify and prevent defective or non-conforming fabrics from being released to customers.
• Reduce fabric rejection, rework, re-fix, customer complaints, and quality-related production losses.
• Collaborate with QC/QA, Production, Dyeing, and R&D teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finishing quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare quality performance reports, analyze defect trends, and recommend corrective actions to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in textile manufacturing, particularly knitted fabric finishing and quality assurance.
• Strong technical knowledge of knitted fabrics, including Single Jersey, Rib, and Interlock.
• In-depth understanding of textile finishing processes, fabric inspection, and quality control standards.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting fabric defects, including shrinkage, spirality, GSM variation, shade variation, and dimensional instability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in large-scale textile manufacturing is highly preferred.
