Job summary

PT Bibit Tumbuh Bersama is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own server-side logic and API design for scalable systems. You will work with frontend platforms and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into high-quality software.

You will develop in Go, C++, Java, .NET, or Python, build robust microservices, apply SOLID and Clean Architecture, and embrace testing and security best practices. Familiarity with Kafka, AWS/GCP, GitLab/GitHub, and Linux is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one of Go, C++, Java, .NET, or Python with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience.
• Experience in developing scalable Microservices and their components (tracing, logging) for high traffic loads.
• Strong foundation in Clean Architecture and SOLID principles; solid unit testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with Event Stream Processing, especially Kafka.
• Familiarity with modern version control systems (GitLab or GitHub) and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
• Comfortable in a Linux environment and proactive about staying updated with backend trends.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Backend Engineer who will be responsible for our server-side application logic along with its integration with the front-end platforms. In this position, you will use your programming skills and tools to analyze and translate business/feature requirements into well-structured, efficient, scalable software. You will also be actively involved in researching new technologies/tools that can be incorporated to improve the current system.

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Go, C++, Java, .NET, or Python, demonstrating a deep understanding of their paradigms, constructs, and idioms with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience
• Experience in developing scalable Microservices and their associated components, such as tracing and logging, showcasing an adept understanding of strategies to handle high traffic loads
• Proven track record of implementing best practices including Clean Architecture, adherence to SOLID principles, and a strong foundation in Unit Testing
• Hands-on experience in managing Event Stream Processing, particularly with Kafka
• Familiarity and proficiency in modern version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
• Experience working with AWS/GCP Managed services like SQS, DynamoDB, SES, etc., showcasing proficiency in leveraging cloud services for robust backend development
• Comfortable operating within a Linux environment, demonstrating fluency in its operations
