Job summary

TTW seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Jakarta team, leading structural design and delivery for diverse building developments across Indonesia. You will prepare analyses, reports, and technical documentation, and supervise junior engineers while ensuring quality and compliance with codes.

You will coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and support construction activities, including site inspections and RFIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in the structural design and delivery of high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and Indonesian (SNI) and/or international standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SPACE GASS, RAM Structural System, and/or RAPT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of projects including high-rise buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, data centres, and other building developments.
• Prepare structural analysis, calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Review and check engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation prepared by junior engineers and drafters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while ensuring high-quality project delivery.
• Prepare technical submissions and other project-related deliverables as required.
• Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, assessing design changes, and conducting site inspections when required.
• Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and priorities to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, design standards, quality management systems, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the successful delivery and commercial performance of projects.
