Job summary

PaxOcean Group is seeking an experienced Lead Scaffolding to plan, coordinate, and oversee scaffold activities in shipyard operations. The role focuses on safe, efficient execution, adherence to drawings, and regulatory standards while coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

The position requires supervising on-site crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring timely progress, quality control, and reporting for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Min 10 yrs shipyard/ship repair scaffolding experience.
• Able to estimate vessel scaffolding areas in sqm.
• Fluent English communication.
• Physically fit for extended hours.
• Certified scaffolding supervisor (min K3).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute scaffolding works per schedule and priorities.
• Supervise scaffolding supervisors, chargehands, and workers onsite.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Team, Production, and other trades.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Monitor progress and report delays or material shortages.
• Ensure proper material and equipment control and storage.
• Attend meetings and provide status updates on scaffolding activities.
• Enforce PTW (Permit to Work) and Risk Assessments (RA/JSA).
