Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Sales Manager based in Cikarang, Jawa Barat, with hybrid work options. You will drive sales growth, lead PLN tender activities, and manage key accounts across Indonesia’s electrical power and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years total experience in electrical industry, with 7+ years in sales/business development/key accounts.
• Proven experience in technical sales of electrical equipment.
• Strong PLN tender/procurement experience (vendor qualification, bidding, follow-up).
• Experience managing key accounts (multinational manufacturers, OEMs, utilities).
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment and power systems, esp. instrument transformers (CT/VT).
• Track record of achieving sales targets; leadership experience in sales teams.
• Fluent business English (written & spoken).
• Willingness to travel across West Java and Central Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sales activities and PLN tender processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with PLN and other decision-makers.
• Manage and grow key accounts including OEMs and utilities.
• Develop short- and long-term sales strategies to grow market share.
• Identify opportunities in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors.
• Present products and negotiate with customers and partners.
• Coordinate with engineering/production/quality teams to meet requirements.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead, coach, and support the sales team to hit targets.
