Job summary

LANXESS Indonesia seeks a Senior Sales Leader in Polymer Additives to drive market penetration in coatings, adhesives, consumer products, and construction, while strengthening the automotive and polymer businesses.

You will lead growth initiatives, manage global key accounts, and collaborate with Technical Service, Supply Chain and Regulatory to resolve complex customer challenges and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5–10 years of chemicals sales and business development experience in coatings, adhesives, construction, and polymer sectors.
• Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities.
• Experience navigating global key accounts and aligning local with global strategies.
• Ability to translate product properties into compelling commercial value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Lead market penetration into coatings, adhesives, and consumer product segments, including construction.
• Grow and strengthen automotive and polymer business in Indonesia.
• Drive new business development, product introductions, and growth opportunities.
• Maintain high-level customer relationships and manage forecasts, CRM discipline, and planning.
• Collaborate with Technical Service, Supply Chain and Regulatory to resolve challenges and align with compliance.
