Job summary

PT YuichiTech Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Gresik. You will drive technical sales activities, identify customer needs, prepare proposals, and present engineering solutions that align with project specifications.

You will collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure feasibility, accurate cost estimates, and timely execution of proposals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution selling, technical proposal development, and translating complex engineering concepts into clear value propositions.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, application guidance, and coordination with engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear presentation abilities, and professional handling of customer requests and concerns.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including negotiation, pipeline management, account management, and achieving revenue and margin targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in industrial projects.
• Experience in EPC, industrial construction, or related sectors, preferably serving manufacturing, chemical, smelter, or energy industries.
• Ability to work on-site, perform regular client visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and prepare technical proposals and quotations.
• Present engineering solutions aligned with client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams for feasibility and cost estimates.
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide pre- and post-sales support.
• Maintain sales pipeline through prospecting and follow-up.
• Prepare regular reports on opportunities, forecasts, and customer feedback.
