Job summary

Synkrona seeks senior engineers to lead RE system design and QA for hybrid projects in Indonesia. You will shape conceptual designs, feasibility studies, and microgrid sizing with BESS integration, ensuring project viability and performance.

You will perform energy yield analyses, LCOE determinations, and support business development through strong proposals and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering physics.
• Master’s degree in RE or hybrid systems from a reputable university.
• Experience leading engineering teams in consulting, research, or hybrid plants.
• Familiar with PV sizing for hybrid systems and BESS integration.
• Experience in tender preparation and PPA processes for IPP projects.
• Understanding of financial due diligence for RE projects.
• Strong English writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers in renewable energy system QA and design reviews.

Job description

• Leading Engineers in Renewable Energy (RE) System for quality assurance
• Renewable Energy and Hybrid System conceptual design and feasibility study
• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and RE sizing for Microgrid System
• Energy Yield Analysis and LCOE Determination of RE Power Plant
• Support the Business Development team in Proposal Preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting, research institution and/or hybrid power plant developer
• Familiarity in PVSyst and Helioscope for RE Hybrid system and BESS sizing
• Experienced in Managing a team of engineer
• Deep understanding in RE and Hybrid system principles
• Experienced in integration of Hybrid Solar PV, BESS and Diesel Engine Generator
• Master's degree in relevant RE or Hybrid system field from reputable universities
• Experience in tender preparation, PPA for IPP in RE project development
• Understand the due diligence of financial aspects in RE power plant projects
• RE and Hybrid System Modeling in HOMER, MATLAB
• Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
