Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is seeking a Project Coordinator for a multinational renewable energy company based in Jakarta. The role focuses on solar PV system design, feasibility studies, and tender support across electrical, mechanical, and civil aspects.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, EPC contractors, and external consultants to optimize system performance and prepare technical documentation for proposals and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in solar PV development, EPC projects, or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, configurations, and optimization.
• Proficiency with PVsyst or similar PV simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary and detailed solar PV system designs in collaboration with engineering teams.

Job Description :

Solar PV System Design

• Develop preliminary and detailed solar PV system designs, including overall project layouts covering electrical, mechanical, and civil considerations in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Evaluate and select key PV system components, including modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other related equipment based on technical requirements and project objectives.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, suppliers, and technical partners to review design inputs, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Support optimization of PV system performance, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.

Feasibility Studies & Technical Assessment

• Conduct technical assessments of potential project sites, including land suitability, solar resource evaluation, grid accessibility, and preliminary technical constraints.
• Prepare pre-feasibility studies and full feasibility study documentation, including capacity assessments, energy yield estimates, and technical evaluations.
• Coordinate with external technical consultants to review, validate, and integrate feasibility study outputs into project documentation.
• Prepare technical inputs for project cost estimates, including CAPEX, OPEX assumptions, system capacity, and energy generation projections to support financial modeling.

Tender & Bid Support

• Prepare technical documentation for project tenders and commercial proposals, including technical descriptions, compliance matrices, design concepts, and bill of quantities (BoQ).
• Ensure technical submissions meet project requirements, specifications, and submission timelines.
• Coordinate technical information across internal teams, consultants, EPC contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Grid Connection & Regulatory Support

• Support grid connection assessments and technical studies in collaboration with appointed consultants.
• Assist in reviewing technical compliance requirements and local content obligations where applicable.
• Coordinate technical documentation required for regulatory submissions and project approvals.

Technical Proposal Development

• Prepare technical sections for customer, investor, and stakeholder proposals.
• Develop supporting technical materials, including system layouts, energy yield summaries, design concepts, and engineering explanations.
• Translate complex technical information into clear and commercially relevant presentations.

Project & Business Development Support

• Support project development activities, including technical discussions, client meetings, and site visits with engineering and project teams.
• Maintain organized technical documentation, design files, simulation reports, and equipment data libraries.
• Provide technical due diligence support for potential project opportunities.
• Monitor relevant technical standards, engineering practices, and regulatory developments related to solar PV projects.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in solar PV development, EPC projects, engineering consulting, or renewable energy industries.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including system components, configurations, performance factors, and optimization principles.
• Proficiency in PV simulation tools such as PVsyst.
• Experience in PV system design, energy yield analysis, feasibility studies, and technical documentation preparation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, particularly for technical reports, proposals, and stakeholder communication.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
