Job summary

PT.Anugrah Inti makmur Indonesia is seeking a motivated R&D Formulation Specialist to develop new product formulations and improve taste, texture, stability, and cost efficiency for the Indonesian market.

You will lead bench trials, prepare samples, conduct stability tests, ensure compliance with BPOM, Halal, and ISO 22000, and collaborate with suppliers and production teams to scale up successful formulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Food Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D formulation within the food, beverage, or supplement industry.
• Experienced in new product development from formulation to production scale-up.
• Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, BPOM, Halal, and ISO 22000 standards.
• Good understanding of raw material characteristics and product formulation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product formulations and improve existing ones for taste, texture, stability, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct laboratory trials (bench tests) for powder-based and ready-to-consume products.
• Prepare product samples for internal evaluation and organoleptic testing.
• Perform stability tests including pH, color, aroma, solubility, viscosity, and shelf-life.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw material samples and technical data.
• Create formulation documents, raw material specifications, and standard procedures for production.
• Support production scale-up trials and provide recommendations based on trial outcomes.
• Ensure all formulations comply with BPOM, Halal, and food safety regulations.
• Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and new ingredient innovations.
