Job summary

China Railway Engineering Cosntruction (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost-related aspects from tender to project completion, ensuring budget adherence and high quality.

The ideal candidate will prepare BOQ, cost estimates, and budgets; perform quantity take-offs; evaluate bids; monitor costs and cash flow; handle variation orders and final accounts, and ensure contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both spoken and written).
• Basic proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ, cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct cost analysis and prepare unit rate calculations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage variation orders, progress claims, and final account settlements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and provide cost optimization recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company standards.
