Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in quantity surveying and estimating within construction.
Experience preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and contract administration.
Proficiency in QS software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Project).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for diverse projects.
Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies to support planning.
Take off/measurement of structural and architectural works.
Review supplier quotations and subcontractor rates to optimize costs.
Administer contracts, process variations, and change orders.
Liaise with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.
Maintain records of project costs and financial transactions.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and variation orders.
Evaluate subcontractor variation claims.
