Job summary

PT Assawala Persada Indonesia is seeking a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity, cost, and commercial aspects of construction projects from planning through execution.

The role requires a D3/S1 in civil engineering or QS with at least 3 years' experience. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD or QS software are pluses. You will coordinate with project teams and document QS records.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Understanding of BOQ, RAB, quantity take-off, cost control, and variation orders
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and calculation skills
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and attentive to detail
• Able to work with deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Experience in villa, resort, hotel, or commercial building projects is a plus
• Ability to use AutoCAD or QS/estimating software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-off and volume calculations based on drawings and project documents
• Prepare and review BOQ, RAB, and cost estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Monitor quantity usage and costs during project execution
• Assist with cost control and project cost analysis
• Prepare and review variation orders (VO) and additional/reduced work
• Evaluate and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors
• Support tender, procurement, and price negotiation processes
• Measure work progress for progress claims and payment certificates
• Prepare periodic quantity and cost reports
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Team, Procurement, Finance, client, consultant, and vendors
• Maintain QS documentation and administration in organized and well-documented manner
