Job summary

App Group is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for its Karawang mill. This full-time role oversees QA/QC across manufacturing, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement and partner with cross-functional teams to maintain excellence in product quality. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in QA/QC within manufacturing, strong ISO knowledge, leadership skills, and fluency in English and Indonesian.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in pulp, paper, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading QA/QC teams and implementing QMS.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience with QA software and LIMS.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Willing to be based in Karawang, West Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures across all manufacturing processes.
• Oversee daily QA/QC operations, including testing, inspection and monitoring of products.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage non-conformance reports and implement CAPA actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize processes.
• Maintain quality documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Lead training programs for QC personnel to ensure consistent standards.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality specifications.
• Monitor calibration of QC equipment and instruments.
