Cheil Indonesia seeks a seasoned PR & Communications lead to manage assigned brand accounts from planning to media engagement, reporting, and delivery of projects.

You will develop PR plans, content calendars, media approaches, and timely activity timelines aligned with client objectives, while providing proactive recommendations and managing day-to-day client communications across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of PR/communications experience, ideally from an agency.
• Experience in automotive, mobility, technology, or lifestyle sectors is preferred.
• Strong Indonesian and English written and spoken communications.

Description du poste

• Manage PR and communications activities for assigned brand accounts, from planning and content development to media engagement, performance reporting, and project delivery.
• Provide recommendations based on client priorities, media opportunities, and campaign results while coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Manage day-to-day client communications, feedback, approvals, and follow-ups.
• Develop PR plans, content calendars, media approaches, and activity timelines aligned with client objectives.
• Recommend story angles, media opportunities, and ways to use available PR activities and deliverables effectively.
• Develop and review press releases, media pitches, key messages, and other communications materials.
• Build and update media lists; coordinate press release distribution, journalist outreach, interviews, and media events.
• Monitor coverage and advise on media-related issues based on editorial context and relationship considerations.
• Track coverage, KPIs, and E-PR value; prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and distribution-specific reports with learning & insights.
• Track SOW deliverables, working with clients and internal teams on execution priorities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on timelines, materials, and project requirements.
• Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, documentation, and outstanding action items.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant PR / communications experience, ideally 6–8 years, preferably from a PR or integrated communications agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in automotive, mobility, technology, consumer/lifestyle, or other high-involvement categories is preferred.
• Strong working relationships with national Tier-1, automotive, business, lifestyle, and relevant regional media.
• Strong ability to develop and review press releases, media pitches, key messages, Q&A, briefing materials, and executive communication materials in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Able to translate business/product information into PR angles, media opportunities, communication plans, and proactive recommendations, not only execute briefs.
• Comfortable independently managing day-to-day client communication, feedback, approvals, timelines, and follow-ups.
• Able to handle multiple workstreams including press releases, interviews, events, media monitoring, reporting, vendors, and timelines.
• Familiar with media monitoring, coverage analysis, PR KPIs, PR Value/ePR tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and strong business English, written and spoken.
• Proactive, responsive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
