Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to advance the Project Engineering discipline across complex offshore projects. You will mentor less experienced colleagues and apply broad knowledge to optimize deliverables, schedules, and interfaces with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role requires strong coordination across engineering disciplines, plan execution, and adherence to McDermott's standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 8-15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
• Good working knowledge of discipline design techniques, analysis methods, and general workflow.
• Knowledge of statutory codes and guidelines as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review inputs from Engineering disciplines, functional departments, and contractors for the Engineering portion of a project.
• Ensure generation of deliverables, reports, and procedures for the Engineering portion of the project.
• Support management of the Engineering portion of the project as directed by the Project Engineering Manager.
• Solve complex problems using discipline expertise and project experience.
