Job summary

Ably Resources is seeking Senior Structural Engineers to support major offshore energy projects. The roles will involve leading structural work packages, reviewing calculations, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams in global offshore environments.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree and at least seven years of experience in offshore jacket and topsides analysis, with a track record of delivering safe, compliant designs and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the design and execution of offshore structural engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore jacket and topsides structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver structural engineering work packages on offshore projects.
• Prepare and review structural design calculations and engineering deliverables.
• Produce technical material requisitions and review vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
• Interpret geotechnical, metocean and bathymetric data to develop robust structural design solutions.
• Perform offshore structural analyses and ensure compliance with international engineering codes and project specifications.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimise design and material quantities.
• Monitor engineering progress, budgets and deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
