Job summary

McDermott is seeking a Senior Production Engineer (Coating Discipline) to drive production quality and schedules across complex offshore/onshore projects. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, review work packages, and ensure compliance with project standards and fabrication sequences.

The role requires 6+ years in oil & gas, strong English communication, and deep knowledge of coating/production processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Materials / Metallurgical Engineering or related.
6+ years in oil & gas or renewable energy fabrication/construction.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of onshore/offshore oil & gas construction.
Familiarity with industry codes and project execution best practices.

Responsibilities

Guide production engineering discipline within projects and align with schedules.
Review Work Packages and fabrication sequences for timely execution.
Lead discipline production team to meet fabrication targets and constructability reviews.
Ensure documentation and procedural compliance across project phases.
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve fabrication/construction issues.
Develop four-week look-ahead fabrication plans and material/drawing prioritization.
Mentor junior engineers and support professional growth.
