Job summary

McDermott International in Indonesia seeks a Senior Planner to enhance the Planning/Scheduling discipline and act as a knowledge resource for the team. You will solve complex problems and ensure activities align with policy across projects.

You will lead schedules using Primavera P6, Deltek Fuse & Risk, and MS Project, while mentoring junior planners and managing level 3/4 schedules for marine installation projects in Oil & Gas. Strong Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management/Engineering/Construction/Business Management or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of EPCIC experience with onshore or offshore oil and gas or power projects.
• Scheduling experience for LNG or Topsides fabrication preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Advanced Excel features for curves, histograms, and dynamic tables.

Responsibilities

• Perform schedule analysis using planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Deltek Fuse & Risk).
• Support project baseline creation during initiation and setup phases.
• Provide project schedule support and mentor junior planners as required.
• Develop and maintain level 3/4 activity schedules for marine scope installation projects.
• Produce workforce histograms and curves in connection with schedules.
• Review engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, hook-up, and commissioning sequences.
• Elevate and expedite operations delaying the schedule and analyze changes.
• Create and monitor schedule compliance, KPIs, and variances to baseline.
• Lead and deliver scheduling initiatives.
