Job summary

PT Nipsea Paint & Chemicals in Gresik, East Java, is seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and optimize productivity. You will monitor processes, quality, and efficiency while ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs.

The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background with 8+ years in leadership roles, strong analytics, and the ability to drive continuous improvements across PPIC, QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and production control.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience in monitoring production targets, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and develop a production team.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
• Able to work with PPIC, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse and others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• OHS awareness and safey mindset.
• Familiar with SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Willing to be placed at our manufacturing plant in Gresik, East Java.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure targets are achieved efficiently and according to established standards.
• Monitor production processes, product quality, and employee productivity to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with production procedures, quality standards, environmental requirements and workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with PPIC and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Lead and develop the production team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
