Job summary

SIGMATECH in Tangerang is seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive product strategy in a banking/financial services context. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear technical specs and actionable backlog items.

The role requires strong Agile/Scrum knowledge, DoD, user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and automated testing practices, plus excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Business, Finance or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience as Product Owner, preferably in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience as Business Analyst or Product Owner in banking/financial services.
• Minimum 4 years in Agile software development environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and product development lifecycles.
• Familiar with DoD, user stories, backlog management, sprint planning, and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements.
• Experience collaborating with developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

Job description

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in banking or financial services is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in Agile Software Development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and product development lifecycles.
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including:
  • Definition of Done (DoD)
  • User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Product Backlog Management and Backlog Refinement
  • Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews
  • Automated Testing practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements for development teams.
• Experience collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Ownership (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) would be an advantage.
