Job summary

MY Fimedia Network Technology in Jakarta is seeking a Beauty Product Development Lead to drive innovation across skincare and makeup, collaborating with Marketing and R&D to translate concepts into market-ready products.

You will mentor a development team, stay ahead of global trends, and translate consumer insights into differentiated products that strengthen the brand and expand market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• Minimum 3 years of Beauty Product Development experience, preferably skincare/makeup.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of local and international beauty trends, ingredients, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes.
• Broad knowledge of skincare/makeup ingredients, product formats, and beauty innovation.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring team members and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong market research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear product development priorities.
• Demonstrated track record of developing strong product concepts and launching beauty products.

Responsibilities

• Drive Product Innovation: Lead the ideation and development of new products and product lines.
• Shape Product Strategy: Partner with Marketing to define product portfolios, positioning, USPs, and POSM briefs.
• Identify Market Opportunities: Monitor trends, consumer behavior, ingredients, technologies, and competitor activities.
• Turn Insights into Products: Synthesize market research, consumer feedback, competitive intelligence, and product performance data.
• Lead Cross-functional Development: Work with Marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into commercially viable products and bring to market.
• Champion Product Excellence: Explore new ingredients, technologies, formats, and experiences to keep SKINTIFIC at the forefront of beauty innovation.
• Mentor & Develop the Team: Provide direction, coaching, and strategic guidance to Product Development Executives.

• Shape Product Strategy: Partner closely with Marketing to define product portfolios, positioning, USPs, key product claims, and POSM briefs that strengthen product differentiation.
• Identify Market Opportunities: Monitor local and international beauty trends, consumer behavior, ingredients, technologies, and competitor activities to identify portfolio gaps and new growth opportunities.
• Turn Insights into Products: Conduct and synthesize market research, consumer feedback, competitive intelligence, and product performance data to prioritize product concepts and features.
• Lead Cross-functional Development: Work closely with Marketing, R&D, and other stakeholders to ensure product concepts are translated into commercially viable products and successfully brought to market.
• Champion Product Excellence: Challenge existing product concepts and continuously explore new ingredients, technologies, formats, and product experiences to keep SKINTIFIC at the forefront of beauty innovation.
• Mentor & Develop the Team: Provide direction, coaching, and strategic guidance to Product Development Executives, ensuring strong execution and continuous improvement across product development initiatives.

• Demonstrated track record of developing strong product concepts and/or successfully launching beauty products.
