Job summary

PT Sukses Corp International seeks a Product Development leader to drive end-to-end development from ideation to launch and post-launch review. You will conduct market research, analyze consumer trends, and translate insights into innovative concepts aligned with brand positioning.

The role requires collaboration across R&D, Packaging, Marketing, Procurement and Production to ensure timely, market-ready products that meet quality and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Product Development, Product Innovation or similar roles, preferably in cosmetics, men's care, or FMCG.
• Experience launching new products from concept to market.
• Understanding of product development processes and formulation basics.
• Strong skills in market research, consumer insights, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
• Creative, consumer-oriented mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from ideation to launch and post-launch evaluation.
• Conduct market research, consumer analysis, and trend mapping to identify opportunities.

• Benchmark products and assess performance, formulation, packaging, pricing, and strategy.
• Monitor industry and consumer trends and translate into new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing products.
• Evaluate post-launch performance to guide future directions and formats.

• Conduct market research, consumer analysis, and trend mapping to identify new product opportunities and consumer needs.
• Develop innovative product concepts based on market trends, consumer insights, brand positioning, and business opportunities.
• Create product development briefs covering product concept, target consumer, key benefits, product claims, benchmark products, and desired product performance.
• Collaborate with R&D, Packaging, Marketing, Procurement, Production, and other related departments to ensure smooth product development and timely launch.
• Conduct product and competitor benchmarking, including product performance, formulation, packaging, fragrance, claims, pricing, positioning, and marketing strategy.
• Monitor and evaluate industry and consumer trends, particularly within the men’s care and personal care market, and translate relevant trends into potential product opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing products based on consumer feedback, market performance, product quality, and changing consumer preferences.
• Evaluate product performance and market response after launch to identify improvement opportunities and future product development directions.
• Explore new product formats, ingredients, technologies, packaging concepts, and consumer experiences to strengthen product innovation.
• Ensure product concepts are aligned with brand identity, consumer expectations, quality standards, and commercial objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Development, Product Innovation, NPD, or a similar position, preferably in men’s care, personal care, cosmetics, FMCG, or related industries.
• Proven experience in developing and launching new products from concept to market.
• Good understanding of product development processes and formulation basics, with the ability to effectively collaborate with R&D/Formulation teams.
• Strong understanding of market research, consumer insights, product benchmarking, and trend analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of initiative, curiosity, and motivation to explore new opportunities.
• Able to translate consumer needs and market trends into innovative, differentiated, and commercially viable product concepts.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
