Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Lead Planner / Scheduler for a brownfield expansion project in Sulawesi, Indonesia. The role acts as the PMC's planning authority, maintaining an independent view of schedule performance across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, commissioning and start-up activities.

You will provide critical forecasts, risk assessments and recovery planning to meet milestones such as Mechanical Completion, Energization and First Ore Feed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or related discipline
• 10–15 years planning/scheduling on major capital projects
• 5+ years in Lead Planner, Senior Planner, or Planning Manager
• Experience on major industrial projects exceeding US$300 million

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC planning and scheduling function at site.
• Establish project planning standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
• Provide schedule expertise to the Project Leadership Team.
• Support informed decision‑making through accurate schedule analysis and forecasting.
• Coordinate shutdown schedules and SIMOPS activities.
• Track procurement status and progress, and produce schedule recovery plans.
