Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead Planner / Scheduler to act as the PMC's principal planning authority on site for a major brownfield expansion within an operating smelter.

You will manage the Integrated Master Schedule, validate EPC contractor schedules, and provide independent forecasts, risks, and recovery plans to ensure milestones such as Mechanical Completion, Energization, and First Ore Feed are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10–15 years of planning and scheduling experience on major capital projects.
• 5+ years in a Lead Planner/Senior Planner/Planning Manager role.
• Experience on major industrial projects (>$300M).
• Experience in Indonesia or Southeast Asia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMC planning and scheduling function at site.
• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Validate EPC contractor schedules and assess logic.
• Identify critical paths and monitor progress.
• Forecast completion dates and report schedule performance.
• Coordinate brownfield SIMOPS and outage planning.
• Provide schedule recovery recommendations to leadership.
