Colliers is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead the engineering operations for a data center project. The role ensures reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while managing vendors and delivering high-quality reporting.

You will oversee data center facilities, critical systems, safety, and SLA compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders for audits and continuous improvement in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years as Chief Engineering in building management.
• Proven experience in managing data center operations.
• CDCP certification or equivalent is required.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor critical systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, BMS).

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Chief Engineering professional to lead engineering operations for a Data Center project. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of critical infrastructure while managing vendors and delivering high-quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center Management

• Oversee daily operations of data center facilities, ensuring uptime, safety, and operational excellence.
• Maintain and monitor critical systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, BMS).
• Manage and supervise third-party vendors and contractors.
• Ensure service delivery meets SLA, quality, and compliance standards.

Project & Operational Oversight

• Support implementation and optimization of building management and engineering systems.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is executed effectively.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and deliver regular operational reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits, compliance, and internal review.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all operations adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and Bank Indonesia guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as Chief engineering within building management
• Proven experience in managing data center operations.
• Strong experience in vendor and contractor management.
• Solid understanding of critical infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, BMS).
• Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, mission-critical environment.
• Willing to work in shifts, including public holidays and collective leave periods.
