Job summary

PT TOA Coating Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead the Modern Retail channel, set ambitious sales goals, forecast trends, and coordinate with marketing and finance to ensure alignment on the sales strategy.

You will develop market research to identify potential clients, improve revenue and market share, train retail teams, and ensure quality and health and safety compliance across activities. Fluent in English and Bahasa is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as retail sales manager with successful track record in related industry
• Knowledge and experience of the modern channel commercial approach, trends, processes and procedures
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain sales goals and forecast future sales trends
• Coordinate with other departments within the company, such as marketing or finance, to ensure all relevant parties are informed about the sales strategy
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and determine their needs
• Resolve customer service issues by communicating with clients to explain product features and benefits and answering questions about products or services
• Organize, control and motivate team to achieve and exceed objectives in terms of revenue, market share and market penetration by implementing the Modern Retail strategy
• Recommend programs for business improvement in modern retail
• Serve as the strategic lead for the sales force dedicated to the Modern channel to achieve sales, distribution and visibility targets
• Develop and train retail sales team members through daily sales observations, weekly report card sessions and weekly sales meetings
• Control collection from customers
• Support and maintain implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 in respective working area
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and health, safety and environmental regulations
