Job summary

PT Lock & Lock Indonesia seeks a dynamic Sales Manager – Modern Trade to lead growth across hypermarkets, supermarkets and department stores in South Jakarta. You will head a dedicated MT team, forge strategic retail partnerships, and ensure strong product visibility and sales performance.

The role requires 8+ years in Sales with Modern Trade/Retail/FMCG experience, plus solid inventory and stock management skills, English proficiency, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales, with strong Modern Trade/Retail/FMCG exposure.
• Proven experience managing Modern Trade or discount store channels.
• Strong inventory and stock management experience is required.
• Good understanding of sales planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sales and inventory data.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's Modern Trade (MT) sales channel.
• Manage sales activities and maintain relationships with Modern Trade and discount store customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
• Manage sales orders, product availability, and stock levels across MT channels.
• Monitor and manage inventory and stock movement to ensure availability.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and related departments for smooth order fulfillment.
• Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, sell-in/sell-out, and other KPIs.
• Prepare regular sales and inventory reports for management.
