Job summary

PaxOcean in Batam is seeking a Mechanical Store Coordinator to manage receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of mechanical materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.

You will ensure accurate records, coordinate with Mechanical Supervisor, Procurement, and Warehouse, oversee store operations, and maintain MSDS and proper labeling.

The role emphasizes safety, timely material availability, and strong documentation in a busy project environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical store, warehouse, or material control.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and material handling.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued, returned, damaged, or lost.
• Coordinate with departments on material requirements and availability.
• Check incoming materials against purchase orders and specs.
• Manage receipt, storage, issuance, and return of materials and tools.
• Prepare inventory reports and conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of materials.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe store conditions.
• Control tool issuance to mechanics and authorized personnel.
• Document store records and MSDS.
