Job summary

PaxOcean in Batam, Indonesia, seeks an Assistant Manager, Commercial (Invoicing Division) to lead invoicing, billing, and commercial settlement for ship repair projects. You will ensure accurate capture of completed works, variations, and subcontracted services in line with contracts, budgets, and shipyard procedures, supporting timely revenue collection and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• 8–10 years experience in shipyard/fabrication yard.
• Proven invoicing and settlement experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary billing officer for ship repair projects.
• Prepare and verify invoices against estimates and variation orders.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and engineering teams.
• Manage variation quotes and subcontractor invoicing.
• Support final accounts and revenue recognition.
