Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore seeks an experienced Software Quality Assurance professional to design, execute, and validate manual test cases for instrument control software and device-related applications in an Agile environment. You will develop test strategies, maintain test plans, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects while ensuring release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in manual testing.
• Hands-on experience in designing and executing manual test cases for web, desktop, or enterprise applications.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Experience testing Windows and/or Linux-based GUI applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in Agile Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and validate manual test cases for instrument control software and device-related applications.
• Develop, review, and maintain test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform thorough manual testing and identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Investigate, reproduce, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Set up and maintain test environments and data for validation.
• Report, track, and manage defects with clear risk communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve testability.
