Job summary

Ajaib Group is seeking a Senior Manager of Collections to lead a high-velocity collection function across leverage and loan products in Indonesia. You will design policies, set escalation paths, and coordinate with Credit Risk, Product, Engineering, Data, and Compliance to optimize outcomes.

You will oversee a team of collection specialists, drive data-driven outreach, and ensure adherence to OJK regulations while delivering measurable improvements in cure and recovery rates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in collection, credit risk or recovery.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience with digital lending, paylater, margin financing or securities-backed lending in Indonesia.
• Strong working knowledge of OJK regulations on collection, lending and consumer protection.
• Comfort with data: dashboards, SQL or Excel; ability to run A/B tests on contact strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the collection strategy across all leverage and loan products.
• Write and maintain collection policies and SOPs (contact rules, escalation, restructuring, write-offs).
• Oversee margin calls, collateral monitoring and liquidation responses in real time.
• Run day-to-day collection operations via in-app notifications, email, WhatsApp, SMS and calls.
• Own KPIs and report performance to senior leadership; feed insights back into product design.
