Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking a senior Legal Counsel in Jakarta to ensure regulatory compliance and manage key legal risks across the business.

You will draft and review contracts, oversee governance and corporate documents, and provide strategic advice to management while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Fluency in English and excellent communication are required. Experience coordinating across departments and with external counsel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and ensure all company activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents such as agreements, contracts, and other documents related to the company’s business operations.
• Assess legal risks associated with business activities and provide accurate legal advice to management and internal functions.
• Prepare corporate legal documents, including Power of Attorney, Deeds of the Company, and related documentation.
• Oversee the implementation of the company’s compliance programs, including Gift and Hospitality mechanisms—ensuring proper recording, safekeeping, management, and reporting processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with the company’s stakeholders.
