Job summary

PT Lion Super Indo seeks a capable Legal Counsel to support its corporate functions in Jakarta. You will draft and review agreements, conduct legal research, and manage IP matters to protect company assets.

The role requires a law degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law and regulatory compliance. English proficiency and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
• 2–3 years experience, retail or FMCG is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and Indonesian laws and regulations.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business-oriented mindset balancing legal/compliance requirements with business needs.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide thorough legal research and advice on relevant issues.
• Manage IP matters, including filing new trademark applications and monitoring existing trademarks.
• Support Corporate Secretary tasks and provide meeting documents for shareholders.
• Liaise with government bodies such as BKPM and Ministry of Trade.
• Address other corporate legal and compliance matters as needed.
• Review and analyze internal policies and their implementation.
• Prepare LKPM investment reports and submit quarterly to BKPM.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drafting & review agreements and other legal documents;


• Provide comprehensive legal research and advice related to relevant issues;


• Handle intellectual property matters of the company, such as submitting new trademark application, monitoring existing trademarks and provide legal opinion for IP related issues;


• Monitor Corporate Secretary functions, including to provide documents for general meetings of shareholders;


• Liaise with relevant government institutions, such as Investment Coordinating Board or Ministry of Trade;


• Other matters to ensure the corporate legal function is carried out properly including any relevant compliance matter;


• Review and analyze new or updated internal policy, including to assess how they will be implemented in the company;


• Prepare and submit investment report (LKPM) quarterly to Investment Coordinating Board;

Requirements:
