Job summary

TechConnect seeks a seasoned Head of IT Security to own our cybersecurity posture across a complex hybrid-cloud and converged IT/OT landscape. This senior leader will translate technical risk into business terms for the C-Suite and Board while building a high-performing security function.

The role leads enterprise strategy, builds Zero Trust, manages an AI-driven SOC, and ensures compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, and applicable privacy laws.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of enterprise cybersecurity experience, including senior leadership.
• Proven track record in security transformations spanning budget, people and technology.
• Deep expertise in Zero Trust, SASE, and modern network security controls.
• Experience securing IT/OT convergence in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Background in AI-driven SecOps, SOAR automation, and threat intelligence operations.
• Strong ability to communicate cyber risk to C-suite and boards.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy and roadmap.
• Build and mature Zero Trust and SASE architecture across IT/OT.
• Own security for converged IT/OT environments and manage IC.
• Establish and scale an AI-driven SOC with proactive threat detection.
• Lead identity and endpoint security strategies and privileged access management.
• Drive secure software delivery with CSPM, Kubernetes security, and CI/CD scanning.
• Govern compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
• Report cybersecurity risk and program maturity to executives and board.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage the security team and budget.
