Job summary

Aliz is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of large IT solutions with a focus on the APAC region. The role combines client relationship management with hands‑on delivery, leveraging a strong engineering background and leadership experience.

You will work closely with Sales, Architects, and Business Partners to optimize delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction across global projects. Jakarta-based with hybrid work options and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of IT project management or account management experience.
• Held a leadership role in software projects (e.g., Program Manager, Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Technical Account Manager).
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with international clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery for the entire solution team.
• Manage international projects with a focus on the APAC region.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution.
• Work with business partners to align execution with business needs.
• Partner with tech leads to improve profitability through reusable assets and delivery efficiency.
• Plan project tasks and schedules with architects.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
• Help Engineering keep projects on track and maintain clear communication.
• Share learnings and best practices with the team.
• Manage external collaborations to secure future projects.
• Manage internal collaboration to keep the team engaged for next projects.
• Ensure team utilization with active projects or meaningful backlog work.

Given that we are growing, we need aSeniorIT Project Manager who can specialize in a specific IT solution area, balancing rapid, high-quality project delivery within their squad with continuous enhancements while maintaining a healthy squad dynamic.

• have an engineering background (worked as an engineer, your husband/wife is an engineer, read/code a lot - anything will fit, just be on top of what we are doing).
• can get to understand what our customer wants, and feel the thrill to get the most out of a relationship with them.

• are OK with the fact that we have our revenue from our customers and understand how you can influence this.
• like to make things (code, tools, ways of doing things, relationships, etc.) better.
• enjoy working with a well-defined solution area and becoming an expert in delivering services with a stable team.
• are comfortable mentoring less senior colleagues to follow your path.
• like to work in an open and diverse community of IT professionals.

You will be responsible for

• the project delivery of the entire solution team
• managing international projects, focusing on the APAC region.
• working together with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to execution.
• working with your business partner on continuously improving your team’s solutions to align execution with business needs.
• working with your tech partner to improve the overall profitability of your team through creating assets and improving delivery efficiency for future projects.

• sharing mistakes and good practices with your colleagues so they can learn from them.

• managing the collaboration internally, so your team will be happy to work with you on the next project as well.
• ensuring your team’s utilization, making sure all members contribute to active projects or meaningful backlog work

Requirements

We’re looking for you if you

• speak English fluently.
• have any engineering background (Computer Science, Engineering, self-taught, … any of these are fine as long as you understand that you don’t understand everything).
• have good problem solving skills.
• learn fast and can understand complex systems, especially how some seemingly small changes might impact the outcome.
• have held a leadership role in software projects, like Program Manager, Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or Technical Account Manager.
• prefer to get things moving and make progress instead of getting stuck in endless talks.
• have at least 3 years of IT project management/account management experience.
• have the character to represent Aliz in front of our customers.
• have the ability to transform projects from a pre-sales phase to scaled delivery.
• have account management ambitions, handling multiple external stakeholders.
• are open to traveling to our customers for shorter or longer (but not that long…) periods, if necessary.
