Job summary
Flex is seeking an IT Manager based in Batam, Indonesia, to oversee IT support and maintenance, evaluate hardware and software, and align information systems with business needs. You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage budgets, and drive projects while ensuring system reliability across LAN/WAN, telephony, servers, and peripherals.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and approximately 10 years of related experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities to ensure reliable information systems.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software that enhance IT capabilities.
- Liaise with managers to determine information needs and how systems should be installed and maintained.
- Lead and develop a team of IT professionals and support staff within budget.
- Approve development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Direct daily department activities to maximize system utilization for the site infrastructure.
- Manage relationships with outsourced infrastructure providers and SLAs.
- Oversee business continuity and recovery planning for information systems.
- Provide technical and project leadership for mid to large-scale projects.
