Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support HV transmission systems across Asia Pacific. You will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and repairs, while coordinating with local, regional and global teams.

The role requires hands-on HV experience, knowledge of GIS/AIS transformers, strong diagnostics, and fluency in English and Mandarin, with willingness to travel locally and regionally and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HV field service experience is essential.
• Knowledge of HV equipment including transformers, AIS/GIS switchgear, circuit breakers, and control systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and field testing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical field advice and supervise installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, refurbishment, and repair of HV transmission equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics of HV transmission equipment.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers; provide customer training on routine maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for project scope, approvals, and sign-off.
• Develop and maintain service reports, time sheets, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
