Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a High Voltage Field Service Engineer to ensure HV and protection equipment are installed and functioning to contract, safety, and quality standards. You will drive results, mentor teams, and lead change on HV projects across diverse environments.

The role requires 5–10 years in HV commissioning with OEM multinationals, offshore exposure, and valid local licenses for HV works up to 500 kV. Strong collaboration and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and relevant HV field experience.
• 5-10 years' experience in HV equipment and protection equipment commissioning with OEM multinationals.
• Experience on offshore projects and proven HV equipment installation knowledge.
• Certifications/licenses from local authorities to carry HV projects (150 kV–500 kV).

The role of the High Voltage Filed Service Engineer is critical to achieving project completion goals. You should be able to ensure that HV equipment and Protection equipment is installed and functioning properly, in accordance with the contract, quality standards, implementation schedule and safety.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 5-10 years' experience in HV equipment and Protection equipment commissioning projects working with OEM multinational companies with offshore experience.
• Proven knowledge skills and experience of successful HV equipment and Protection equipment installation.
• Must possess all necessary Certifications/Licenses from relevant local Authorities, to carry out HV Projects (150 kV ~ 500 kV).
• Successful implementation of safe systems of work, effective site quality and subcontractor management, proficient use of MS Office and projects.
