Job summary

KBR is seeking an HSSE Principal Specialist to lead safety efforts across projects in Indonesia. You will liaise with engineering and construction teams, plan training programs, prepare staff for field visits with proper PPE, and work to reduce HSSE risks to ALARP while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5-7+ years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas onshore/LNG, strong communication, and the ability to drive audits and procedural improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years HSE experience, including Oil & Gas Onshore/LNG projects.
• Multilingual with good Indonesian and English.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to write and review procedural documents clearly and concisely.
• Internal auditor qualification preferred (ISO 14001/ISO 45001).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with engineering safety and construction to input into project activities and deliverables.
• Identify, plan and conduct training including weekly HSE inductions and Zero Harm training.
• Prepare employees for field visits with training and PPE.
• Reduce HSSE risk to ALARP.
• Comply with national regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Provide HSSE input to subcontractor and suppliers’ assessments.
