Job summary

KBR is seeking a seasoned HSE Lead for Indonesian projects in Jakarta, focusing on safety leadership for onshore LNG/O&G activities. The role requires coordinating with engineering teams, training staff, and enforcing ALARP principles to minimize risk.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years in HSE, multi-lingual skills (Indonesian and English), and certifications such as AK3U/NEBOSH. You will support audits, inspections, and incident investigations while driving compliance and continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Industrial Safety or HSE related discipline.
5–7+ years HSE experience including Oil & Gas Onshore/LNG projects.
Ability to lead HSE function on large-scale projects.
Internal auditor qualification preferred (ISO 14001/ISO 45001).
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Liaise with engineering safety and construction to provide HSE leadership and input.
Identify, plan and conduct training including weekly inductions.
Prepare employees for field visits with training and PPE.
Reduce HSSE risk to ALARP level.
Ensure compliance with national regulatory requirements.
Provide HSSE input to subcontractors and suppliers’ assessments.
Participate in audits to ensure compliance with project procedures.
Manage display screen equipment hazards and risks.
Support travel hazard management and project team health program.
Conduct workplace inspections and plan toolbox talks.
Lead emergency response planning and incident investigations.
Support HSSE input into procurement activities and lessons learned.
