Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Principal HSES Specialist to solve complex HSES problems and lead teams with minimal guidance. The role requires in-depth HSES expertise and broad knowledge across the HSES discipline within Health Safety Environment Security.

You will develop and implement HSE-MS in line with corporate, legislative, and client requirements, drive risk management, lead audits, and mentor HSES personnel. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in HSES field.
• 7–8 years HSE experience in energy.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with HSES terms, requirements, deliverables.
• ISO standards lead auditor (9001/14001/45001).
• Proficient in MS Office and online apps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead implementation of HSE-MS per requirements.
• Lead HSES risk management processes and KPI development.
• Manage audits and compliance programs for HSES.
• Support tendering with technical and commercial input.
• Oversee subcontractor HSES pre-qualifications and bid evals.
